It’s time for Subieville’s smallest SUV, the Subaru Crosstrek, to get an upgrade. The cute SUV should have a more confident look as Subaru tries to solidify things across the entire lineup. So far, we like what we’re seeing for the new Subaru Crosstrek.
The next generation of Subaru Crosstrek gets a makeover
Finally, big things are coming to the next-generation Subaru Crosstrek. The smallest SUV in the line is getting a lot of love as the Crosstrek gets a new look and improved performance. According to Wapcar, the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek will be seen on September 15. And we can wait and see the Subaru XV price Philippines.
It’s only a week away, but we still can’t wait. Additionally, Subaru has shared some trailers to get our engine going. The image is mostly covered with shadows, but you can see a vehicle similar to the Crosstrek.
It may be an all-new SUV, but most reviewers assume it’s the new Crosstrek. Alternatively, it could be an electric Crosstrek to give people an electric option other than the Subaru Solterra.
Either way, the LED headlights and grille have a sleek new design that matches the other SUVs in the lineup. In addition, the taillights and rear hatch have a similar shape.
2024 Crosstrek
The 2024 Crosstrek is expected to have a new look and a bigger footprint. This is America’s best-selling model, and we love our space! However, it will not be larger than the Subaru Forester. Rumors suggest that the new Crosstrek will run on the existing Levorg Subaru Global Platform (SGP) with a new internal chassis structure installed on the WRX S4. It will give more space and improve its safety rating.
The Crosstrek may not have the extra horsepower in the US. It can use the same 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 152 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque. But you can upgrade to a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that makes 182 horsepower and 176 pound-feet of torque. We’d love to see a bit more muscle, especially with the Subaru Crosstrek’s hybrid engine developing just 148 hp. However, we might be surprised by the new powertrain options.
In addition, the small but powerful Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness Edition is expected to be released. It will have raised suspension, upgraded all-terrain tires, an upgraded X-MODE off-road system and unique styling.
The Price of Crosstrek 2024Â
Pricing for the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek can start at $23,645 up north. This is the MSRP of the 2023 model and does not include dealer arrival or point of sale fees. If the next-gen Crosstrek doesn’t have more power, the price could increase by just a few hundred dollars.
Upgrading the entry-level Outback to the Subaru Outback Wilderness model increases the price by about $10,000. That means Crosstrek Wilderness could rally to around $33,000 or so.
The official price has not been announced. That’s just speculation. However, we may not have to wait much longer to find out more. Important information will be released next week, Thursday, September 15.
