Through the RRB Group D Examination, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is seeking applications from suitable individuals for various openings in level I of the VIIth CPC Pay Matrix.

The Railway RRB Group D Level I Recruitment is held to fill the positions of Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant in various technical departments (Electrical, Mechanical, and S&T departments), and Assistant Pointsman, Level-I in other Indian Railways departments. Before applying for the exam, candidates should read the Railway Group D centralised job notification.

A Computer-based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), document verification, and a medical examination will be used to make final choices for job profiles in Level I of the VIIth CPC Pay Matrix. RRB Group D 2022 will have questions from General Awareness, General Science, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and Mathematics. Steps to Fill RRB Group D Application Form

Aspirants must follow the procedures below to fill out the RRB Group D application form:

• Go to the official website and select the railway region where you wish to apply. Candidates should verify the vacancy table before applying for the position.
• Select “New Registration” from the drop-down menu.
• To finish the registration procedure, provide information such as your name, parents’ names, phone number, email address, and Aadhaar number.
• Once the candidates’ information has been entered, the Registration ID will be produced. A one-time password (OTP) will be emailed to the registered email address and cellphone number.
• Then, obtain the OTP and enter it into the appropriate text box before pressing the ‘Validate’ button. Aspirants will not be able to change their cellphone number or email address once the validation process is completed.
• On the screen, select the “Apply/Edit” option.
• Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements before submitting their applications. Candidates must accurately fill out the information before completing the final submission.
• After submitting the form, applicants can make changes (if necessary) by paying a cost of INR 100. Please keep in mind that the application can only be modified twice.

RRB Group D Application Form Prerequisites

Before you begin filling out the RRB Group D application form, make sure you have a scanned copy of 

• a passport-sized photograph
• the candidates’ signatures
• documents that are relevant

• After submitting the eligibility requirements form, applicants must select a specific job from a list of options for which they will take the exam. Candidates are free to apply to as many as they like. Aspirants should confirm their choice by pressing the button.
• Candidates should select the Payment tab option after submitting their preference form.
• Once the candidates have successfully completed the payment they may add their signatures and images.
• Aspirants should ensure that their signatures and photos are scanned before uploading them; otherwise, the commission will reject the application form.
• Once you’ve completed your payment, you’ll be given the opportunity to “Fill in further details”, which you should select.

• Candidates should double-check that their signatures and images are in the right format before clicking the “Final Submit” button. Aspirants should double-check the signature and image previews.
• Remember to print a copy of the RRB Group D Level 1 online application form for future reference.

How to Check the Status of Your RRB Group D Application and Modify Your Access

Aspirants should follow the procedures below to verify the status of their RRB Group D application and gain access to the modification link:

• Go to the RRBs official website.
• Aspirants will find an application modification link to submit a photograph and/or signature and to check application status on the home page, which they should click.
• Fill in the required information, such as your registration number, security code, and date of birth.
• On the interface, candidates may view the progress of their applications.
• Re-upload the signature and photo in the format specified.

Exam Pattern for RRB Group D

The RRB Group D Computer Based Test has an Objective Type Questions test structure.

The CBT will take 90 minutes and will be worth 100 points (120 min for PwBD candidates).

There will be 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) earning one mark each in the CBT. A third of a mark will be deducted for each wrong response.

The minimum qualifying marks in the CBT for UR & EWS will be 40%, while the minimum qualifying marks for SC / ST & OBC-NCL would be 30%.
