Apple iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max bring 120Hz displays, overhauled cameras

Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max

and Pro Max have 120Hz displays and overhauled cameras. The Pro models of the iPhone range are even more advanced than their vanilla counterparts. They feature a faster GPU and better camera hardware, and the most important, the ProMotion display ever seen on an iPhone.

Apple’s ProMotion is a term that refers to a high refresh rate display. It can be as low as 10Hz or as high as 120Hz on the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro max. iOS has been updated to make the most of the new display.

There are two display sizes available

a 6.1″ iPhone 13 Pro and a 6.7” Pro Max. The TrueDepth camera’s notch is 20% smaller and the panels up to 25% brighter outside.Let’s now talk about the camera. Apple kept the 12MP resolution but upgraded the lenses, sensors, and image processing.

The main camera sensor boasts a pixel size impressively high of 1.9um, and an aperture brighter than f/1.5. The 12 Pro Max, for comparison, had 1.7um pixels with an f/1.6 lenses. The new model is capable of capturing up to 2.2x more light in low light.

Telephoto cameras now

have a 77mm f/2.8 lens that offers 3x optical magnification. This lens is now 65mm/2.5x larger than the main cam, but has an f/2.4 aperture. The ultrawide camera is next, with a 6-element f/1.8 lens and autofocus. This compares to the f/2.4 lens from last year’s Pros. It results in 92% more light hitting your sensor. The autofocus also allows the ultrawide module double as a macro-camera. Night mode is supported by all Pro models, including the Telephoto.

The new chipset, which we’re working on, supports ProRes video, Apple’s professional video codec. Pros can record at 4K 30fps, and you can edit ProRes videos directly on your phone. Dolby Vision HDR can also be supported at 4K 60 frames per second.

The iPhone 13 Pros can record

a depth map along with the video. This allows you to adjust the depth of field after the video has been recorded. Photographic Styles, which allows you to edit a photo one element at time, applying different corrections to background and subject, is another new feature. Later, this feature will be available on the vanilla 13 models.

Let’s now talk about the Apple A15 Bionic chipet. It contains a staggering 15 billion transistors, compared to the 11.8 billion in the A14. The chipset is manufactured using a 5nm process. Apple did not provide any further details. Apple claims that the chipset retains its 2+4 CPU architecture with two large cores. However, it is difficult to determine what leading competitors Apple is referring to. Poodle German Shepherd Mix

The GPU now features 5 cores.

This gives it an advantage over vanilla phones which have 4 cores. The Neural Engine has been upgraded to deliver 15.8 TOPS instead of 11 TOPS on A14. (We’ll only mention that a Snapdragon 8888+ advertises 32 TOPS).A combination of an efficient screen, a larger battery, and iOS optimizations has improved the battery life. An iPhone 13 Pro can last 1.5 hours on a single charge, whereas a 12 Pro can last 2.5 hours.

The iPhone 13 Pro Max can last 2.5 times longer than the 12 Pro Max. Apple did not mention a faster charging method. This means that 20W wired over Lightning is equivalent to 15W over MagSafe. Two Pro phones will be made available in Graphite and Gold as well as Silver. The chassis is made of stainless steel. The front is Ceramic Shield and the back is matte. The sapphire crystal is used to cover the lense.

Apple also enhanced 5G

connectivity by adding support for more bands. The iPhone 13 series will be compatible with more than 200 carriers worldwide by the end of 2013, spanning 60 countries. Smart Data will switch to 4G when a fast, reliable and low-latency connection cannot be established.

We should first talk about storage before we discuss pricing. It starts at 128GB, and then goes to 256GB and 512GB options. Finally, it introduces the 1TB storage option.Pre-orders for the new iPhones will be possible starting Friday. The first units will be available September 24th. The iPhone 13 Pro is priced at $1,000 and the iPhone 13 Pro Max starts at $1,100. has more information about pricing.
