Which countries participate in the eVisa program?
Currently, Turkey’s electronic visa program is applicable to travelers from 46 countries. If you do not fall into this category, you must apply for a traditional tourist visa before traveling. Those eligible for an eVisa include US citizens and most EU countries, including France, Germany and Italy. However, at the time of writing (November 2018), Switzerland was not listed as a participating country on the official website and those with a Swiss passport may need to apply for a traditional tourist visa before travel. To make sure your passport is valid, call your nearest Turkish embassy or consulate.
What is the visa-on-arrival fee in Turkey?
Most foreign nationals can enter Turkey by air and pay a visa-on-arrival fee of $20 USD. Those traveling by land or sea must purchase a visa at an embassy or consulate for approximately $35 USD (costs vary by country). Also, all visitors must have proof of sufficient funds to enter Turkey (usually $50 USD per day). Many nationalities also require a valid passport to be used during travel to Turkey and returned upon departure. Some nationalities do not require a valid passport for entry. What documents do I need for an online visa application?

Yes, you can get a multiple entry visa through an online visa application. Depending on which country you plan to visit, Turkey allows you to stay visa-free for up to 1 month. If you intend to stay in Turkey for more than 1 month, you will need a multiple entry visa. Please ensure that your passport is still valid for at least 6 months from the date of your arrival in Turkey, otherwise, you may have problems when going through immigration control at Turkish airports. Also, ensure that all the required documents are properly sent and reach the Turkish diplomatic office before 14 days from your departure date from Turkey, otherwise your application will be canceled and thus no longer warrant online e-visa application.
