If you are just catching up from over the weekend, I put up quite a few posts, including a giveaway:

Also, my dinner last night (leftovers are lunch today) was a combo of delicious things and I think its worth sharing.
This little mashup included Annie’s Organic Mac & Cheese, stir-fry veggies, and turkey bacon. It was a really easy and yummy combo.
So this morning I woke up around 3:25am with a massive headache. I couldn’t fall back asleep in my bed so I went downstairs to try to couch…no luck there either. I laid there until my alarm went off at 5:30 (which I normally snooze for about 30 minutes but not today) and got up. I still felt crappy but hoped a little morning workout would maybe make my head feel better. I put on Exercise OnDemand and picked the “Calorie Burnout” workout (under “Most Popular” in the fitness category in case you want to find it) which was described as being a full-body calorie-blasting workout that combined cardio and weight training intervals. It was 45 minutes long and it was a really good workout without being too crazy. The basic format looked like this:
- Cardio: grapevine, side to side squat shuffle, jumping jacks, squat jacks, burpees, mountain climbers
- Core: plank with alternating knee drops, bicycles, front crunches, scissor kicks, hip raises, oblique crunches
- Weights: bicep curls, triceps extensions, shoulder presses, shoulder raises, upright rows, triceps kickbacks, bicep hammer curls, front raises, RDLs, squats, lunges, glutes
It was broken up into three different sections and the workout took you through each three times. Each exercise was performed for about 15-20 seconds. I will be doing this workout again. I really liked it…it’s similar to a Jillian Michaels workout DVD that I have that I can’t think of the name at the moment!
I immediately made some coffee after I was finished with exercising…
I got this flavor from Target yesterday. It is OK but I will definitely make it stronger next time.
Breakfast as usual…protein overnight oats.
Plus another cup of coffee. I still have that headache…I’m really hoping it goes away soon. I have a lot I need to do today!

Oh, you poor thing. 3:25 is far too early to wake up for ANYTHING!! Fingers crossed that your head quits aching, but at least you crammed in a solid workout before you let it bring you too far down.
thanks, I figured at least I’d have that out of the way!
The mac and cheese looks delicious. An easy, healthy mash up
Just a suggestion- but I find that if I drink too much coffee I either get a headache, or it gets worse. I think water is good
Absolutely…I just need to coffee to wake up! haha
I almost picked up that exact coffee yesterday! Ended up going with a caramel blend from Starbucks instead. Kind of bummed it didn’t blow your mind. Oh well.
That workout sounds like Jillian’s Last chance workout, that DVD kills me nearly every time! Hope your headache goes away!!
Ooooo that sounds awesome – I love Annie’s, and adding veggies is the perfect way to round out a mac-n-cheese meal! But adding BACON?! genius.
Black Coffee helps me when I have a headache =)
But i don’t know about the flavored ones …
Good luck with the headache–hopefully it goes away soon!
How do you make easy over night oats! I am in college and need to try a new breakfast!!
check out my oatmeal page…I have the directions right at the top!
That mac and cheese dish looks so good and easy! Anything with bacon is definitely a winner. Thanks for posting
LOVING that mac and cheese! I will have to give it a try … and soon!
Love your header!! You are FIT!!!
weeee thanks! YOUUUU are fit!!
I really love the Archer Farms coffee flavors – well as long as either cinnamon, vanilla, or pumpkin are involved
Ah, I was the exact opposite – I went to bed at 12 (well, tried to, anyway) and only fell asleep at 3
Exercise TV went out of business last year so what on demand channel were you watching?
I just pressed the OnDemand button on my remote, then go to sports & fitness, then to fitness workouts.
