Central Blue Dinner Date
Last night, Mike and I went to Central Blue for a little dinner date.
I loved the lighting outside and the inside was divided into 3 different main rooms, which were the bar area (they had soccer on the TV, major bonus points), a special room for private parties (one was going on), and the main dining area, where we sat. They had live entertainment going on also, which was a man playing the piano and a woman singing. I really liked this aspect except it was a little loud…I felt like I was screaming at Mike just to talk to him across the table.
Central Blue has an extensive list of speciality martinis so obviously I had to give a couple a try
I started with the “Belinitini” because I thought it was cool it had champagne in it.
It was quite good!
We shared some tapas to start. Lobster & Duck Spring Rolls, Buffalo Chicken Meatballs, and the Central Blue Pizzette.
By the time we ordered entrees, I was ready to have another martini. I decided to go with an old classic, a dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives.
I’ve had better. Maybe I have really high standards for dirty martinis and this one didn’t do it for me.
For an entree I order the Seared Yellowfin Tuna.
In my opinion, the food was better than the drinks that I had. Considering the place was pretty pricey (both of my martinis were $10 each), I’m not sure I’d go again just because I think I can go to Bonefish for half the price and probably be more satisfied
But I’m glad we tried it out because I had been curious about it for awhile.
Also side note, sorry I didn’t put the flash on for the pics…It seemed light enough with out the flash not to need to disrupt the rest of the restaurant with it.
So now I’m going to go have some breakfast & coffee and get ready for my re-run today. Haha, that is funny…”re-run”…get it? A re-do of my run?? Man sometimes I’m really clever and don’t even mean to be.
Have a great Sunday! Anything fun planned?? I have a bit of a to-do list after my run so I’m eager to start checking things off my list!
